My friends and I are planning on making movies in florida and putting them on Amazon. I’m assuming I need a filming permit or something, but are there any other laws in filming?
Also, one of the movies has a scene where a character gets pulled over by police, and an actor will be wearing a police uniform and we will make some kind of police car. Are there any precautions I should take before this?
And also, there will be several guns used in the movie. If I have a permit for a gun and fill it with blanks, can I use it in the movie as long as no people are around?
Are there any laws against making a car chase scene?

Each state has different laws – check with the Florida Film Commission Office – here is a link to their website: http://www.filminflorida.com/prl/perm.asp
You can read about the different permits that you need to film different scenes in special locations, etc.
Good luck!
